The Backyard
The Backyard Amenity Center is the cornerstone of the Bryson community. Featuring a resort-style pool, uniquely-designed playscape, a covered pavilion and galley bar for communal gatherings, hammocks, a large stone fire pit overlooking the fishing pond, and open green spaces for ongoing lifestyle events, The Backyard is the perfect place for families to gather.
The Event Lawn at The Backyard provides Bryson Residents with a space to play one of our many available lawn games or enjoy Lifestyle Events such as our Easter Bunny Hop, Cinema Under the Stars, or monthly Craft Time! activities.
Anchored by a family-style picnic table and featuring rocking chairs, lounge furniture, plenty of seating, free wifi, and views overlooking the fishing pond from the wraparound deck, the pavilion at The Backyard is the ultimate gathering place for Bryson Residents to commune with one another and enjoy the outdoors.
Belly up to the Galley Bar for a tasty beverage during one of our many Lifestyle Events, or BYOB with some friends and enjoy watching a game on the 65" flatscreen TV, which features Direct TV Channels and Netflix capability.
The River Splash Pad is a fun and unique feature for The Backyard Amenity Center - just press one of the two "Splash" buttons to start 13 streams of water flying through the air, followed by an overhead rush of water from the mini water tower!
The best way to cool off during the warm Texas months, the Lagoon Pool is the summer watering hole for the Bryson Community. Residents can often be found enjoying a daily dip or at one of our poolside Lifestyle Events, such as our Flick N' Float movie series or Late Night Sip N' Dip happy hours for the adults. Surrounded by green space, walking trails, and a view of The Bryson Backyard Amenity Center, the catch and release fishing pond is one of the most beautiful features of the Bryson Community. This private pond for residents is fully stocked with bass, perch, red-breasted sunfish, catfish, and blue gill, with fishing poles available for resident use.
The perfect gathering place to tell stories, roast marshmallows, catch a nap in the nearby hammock, or watch the sunset over the fishing pond, the Fireside at Bryson is a special gathering place for Bryson Residents to enjoy.
Bryson book lovers will delight over this addition by Johnson Development — a book exchange box. Drop off a recently finished book and feel free to take one from the box, whether it’s for your Thomas the Train-loving toddler or for yourself — the library serves all ages. The box comes stocked with $100 worth of books to get the library kicked off, and if you have extra books crowding your bookshelves, feel free to add to the Little Free Library Collection. So come on over to The Backyard and grab a fun title from our Little Free Library!
